Thanks to everyone for participating in the contest! You guys submitted some great stories! Some were awesome, and some awful, but all of them were entertaining!

"The most awesome/awful thing that has happened to you while knitting (or crocheting) in public" Contest!

I want to hear a story about the most awesome or awful thing that has happened to you while you were knitting or crocheting in public. It doesn't have to be recent, it can be from whenever. It doesn't have to be something knitting (or crochet) related that happened, just something that you think is awesome or awful that happened WHILE you were knitting or crocheting.
